Getting Here
Our airport host waits ready to whisk you from Arrivals at Velana International Airport to our private seaplane lounge, where guests can enjoy complimentary juice, coffee, tea and soft drinks while waiting for your transfers.
Maldives authorities require that your passport/travel document be valid for the duration of your stay in the Maldives. However, please check the requirement validity of your passport to other destinations and from the airlines you are travelling with, as they may have a regulation that may not allow you to travel if your passport validity is less than 6 months.
All transfers booked by the resort include a maximum baggage allowance of 20 kg per passenger (USD 5.60 per additional kg, subject to 16% GST). Hand luggage should not exceed 20" x 12" x 7" in size or 5 kg in weight. For a smooth trip, please share your arrival and departure flight details with us at least 5 days before your arrival.
Niyama Private Islands Maldives is delighted to facilitate flight bookings between Manta Air and guests of Niyama. All flights are carried out by Manta Air, our preferred airline partner in the Maldives, and are subject to Maldivian’s terms and conditions which can be found here.

Niyama Private Islands Maldives sits an exhilarating 45-minute seaplane journey south of Malé. Our airport representative greets you on your arrival at Malé International Airport, where they will assist you with check-in for your seaplane transfer. Soar over rings of islands. Glimpse villages and deserted isles surrounded by crystal-clear waters.
Please note that seaplanes only operate during daylight hours. Guests arriving after 3:15 pm will be transported to the resort the next day. For such arrivals, it is suggested to book an overnight stay near the airport. International departure flights should be scheduled after 9:15 am to guarantee a seamless same-day departure.
Roundtrip transfers are priced at USD 780 Net per person and inclusive of a 16% goods & services tax (GST), with 50% off for children up to 11 years old.
For an alternative option, guests can take a 25-minute domestic flight from Malé International Airport to the newly opened Dhaalu Airport, followed by a 5-minute speedboat transfer to Niyama. Roundtrip transfers is at USD 520 Net per adult (Combined Comfort Class) / USD 728 Net per adult (Combined Sapphire Class), inclusive of a 16% goods & services tax (GST), with 50% off for children up to 11 years old.

The charter rate between Malé International Airport and Niyama Private Islands Maldives is USD 6,750 net per way, inclusive of a 10% service charge and 16% goods & services tax (GST).
