Asian street food in Maldives on the beach, carefully prepared and grilled over coals by Niyama’s chefs at Took Took, the resort’s once-a-week, destination dining concept. Bamboo teepee frames draped in fairy lights and hurricane lamps tower over a lounging and dining area set-up beneath the open sky. Relax in snug beach armchairs with toes in the sand, while enjoying coral painted sunsets, glasses of bubbly, and creatively presented street food.

Fantastic family holiday
We had an amazing time at Niyama Private Islands. The villas are spacious and well-appointed. There was a very wide selection of food - all fresh. Lots of activities - one major plus is the tennis court and the tennis coach. Without exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. A particular shout out to Imthy and Caffrey who made our stay so special.

Beautiful experience, lovely resort and the best hospitality. We had an amazing stay at Niyama Private Islands for our honeymoon. The resort is absolutely stunning, with beautiful villas, excellent food, and exceptional service. Everything was beautifully organised, making it a truly memorable experience. A special thank you to Zaid, who looked after us throughout our stay. He was friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, making our experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend Niyama and hope to return one day!
Great with active kids
Fabolous stay in a deluxe over water, the staff is genuinely great and both restaurants and facilities live up to it. Our Thakuru Zaid made it all very easy for us to enjoy all the activities
