The site has just been given a ‘Best in Class’ Award in the ‘Hotels & Resorts’ category in the Interactive Media Awards, which recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development, based on planning, execution and overall professionalism.
With a portfolio of three stunning resorts in the Maldives and United Arab Emirates, PER AQUUM recently revealed a new phase in the brand’s evolution and the most significant development since its launch 12 years ago with a new logo, revamped visual identity and fresh hotel names. A key component of the brand refresh was the development and launch of the brand’s new website - with improved functionality and optimisation for every platform including mobile phones and tablets, as well as a fully integrated marketing strategy incorporating social media, eCommerce - remarketing, SEO, PPC campaigns - and PR. The in-house digital team at Minor Hotels, including the group’s newly appointed UX Specialist who is responsible for the overall website visitor experience, worked with the Singapore-based Adelphi Digital Consulting Group to develop the site.
The new site offers the capability to personalise content for different users, a groundbreaking development in website design which will be phased in over the next few months. Visitors to the site can also contact customer service professionals in real time with the integrated chat functionality – a service which is proving popular with travel trade partners.

Created by the Interactive Media Council, a non-profit organisation of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet. The Best in Class award is the highest honour bestowed with only a fraction of the winners receiving this accolade.
